Our Ministry

Our desire is to reach out to our congregation and our community to address the pain that many carry throughout their lives.  Bread of Life Counseling Center is here to be a place of peace and hope to the hurting.

At the Bread of Life Counseling Center, you will find Christ-centered, Biblically based counseling. We recognize God's Word as the ultimate standard of truth and we integrate sound psychologicial  priniciples  that are supported by the Bible.

We offer our services in the areas of family and individual counseling, premarital counseling, addiction, and group counseling.

The Bread of Life Counseling Center is funded by private donations and grants.  Everone is welcome regardless ability to pay.  Those that can pay for services are asked to make a donation to the ministry in order to make it possible to help many others in our community.  

Our Staff Counselors   

Our counseling staff is led by Garry Barber who serves as Director/Chief Counselor. Garry has many years of experience in pastoral, missions and counseling ministries. He holds degrees from Kennesaw State University (B.S. Social Services – Psychology), Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity), Liberty University (MA Human Services – Marriage and Family Counseling) and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry, projection completion Spring 2010).

Gary Battiglino, PhD serves as a professional advisor for Bread of Life. Gary holds Master and Doctoral degrees from Nova University and has received certification from the Florida Association of Christian Counselors and Therapists.  Gary has over twenty years experience in church-based counseling ministry.

Our Ministry Team Members

The Bread of Life Counseling Center utilizes lay counselors to provide biblically based care and encouragement to men and women in our community.  Our lay counselors are carefully trained, going through extensive and ongoing education.  They are closely monitored and
mentored by our professional counseling staff.
